Drop by the MyWhoosh booth at Eurobike 2022 in Messe Frankfurt Hall 11.1 / B15, and learn more about the MyWhoosh virtual cycling platform.
Every new MyWhoosh account created and used in one of our MyWhoosh races at our booth (more about this below) — lasting approximately five to ten minutes — will be entered into a drawing to win one of four Colnago C68 road bikes equipped with a full Campagnolo Super Record EPS groupset, CeramicSpeed upgrades, Campagnolo Bora wheels, and SRM power meter similar to the bikes used by two-time Tour de France winner Tadej Pogačar and UAE Team Emirates.
MyWhoosh races begin at 10:00 (GMT +2) and continue through 17:00 (GMT +2), starting from the 14th of July every day till the 17th of July. Each race will take place at the top of the hour, and will begin only after five competitors have registered and are ready to race. Daily prize drawings will be conducted at 17:30 (GMT +2).
Contestants may race as many times as they want each day, and they can race back to back days, but will only be eligible to win once.
No matter how fast you ride or how well you finish in the virtual races you’ll still have one chance per day to win one of these state-of-the-art road bikes. In addition to the Colnago giveaways, MyWhoosh will also have amazing door prizes and other giveaways.
Meet UAE Team Emirates Pro Cyclists Pascal Ackermann and Felix Groß and UAE Team ADQ Pro Riders – Sophie Wright and Alessia Patuelli
On hand to assist with the Colnago giveaways, demonstrate the MyWhoosh experience, give interviews, and sign autographs will be 2019 Giro d’Italia ciclameno points competition champion Pascal Ackermann, and Tokyo Olympian Felix Groß, who represented Germany in the men’s team pursuit. Ackermann and Groß are new both new additions to UAE Team Emirates for 2022, joining two-time defending Tour de France champion Tadej Pogačar, WorldTour sprinting star Fernando Gaviria, and others.
We will also be joined by pro-cyclists from UAE Team ADQ – British climber Sophie Wright and Italian all-rounder Alessia Patuelli at our booth to interact with booth visitors, sign autographs and showcase the MyWhoosh experience!
MyWhoosh’s Director of Product, Kevin Poulton, will be on hand to answer all questions about riding in MyWhoosh. Kevin trained the winner of the 2016 ‘Hell of the North’ when he was sidelined before the cobbled monument, and trained almost exclusively indoors in the run up to one of the hardest single-day bike races in the world.
Ride in an Immersive Experience Unlike Any Other
You will not want to miss the unique MyWhoosh immersive virtual cycling experience!
Ride in the MyWhoosh world—at the heart of a 2.5m cube—while the MyWhoosh landscape surrounds you and allows you to escape into the fantastic universe of virtual cycling. This is a casual ride environment that will allow you to explore the most notable features of the MyWhoosh virtual cycling experience without the pressures of racing.
With smooth roads beneath you and clear skies above, you become your avatar and you might just forget you’re riding indoors!
In addition to the MyWhoosh LED immersive experience, there will be five virtual cycling stations that will be available to demo MyWhoosh, even if you don’t want to race. On the upper level of the MyWhoosh booth is a lounge to allow you to view the expo from an amazing vantage point.
What You Need to Know
MyWhoosh booth will be open daily July 13-17 from 9:00 until 18:00, located at Messe Frankfurt hall 11.1 / B15. MyWhoosh representatives will be on site to answer all of your questions, moderate races, and hand out fantastic door prizes and other giveaways.
MyWhoosh racing will take place July 14-17 at the top of each hour, from 10:00 through 17:00. Five riders are required to start each race. If more than five riders are present for a race, multiple wave starts will be conducted throughout the hour. Races are expected to last between five an ten minutes. There is no limit to the number of races in which an individual can compete each day.
Colnago C68 giveaways will be conducted daily at 17:30 on July 14-17. To be eligible to win one of four Colnago C68 bikes, contestants must register for a MyWhoosh account through one of the iPads at the MyWhoosh booth and also participate in a race. Participants are eligible to win a bike once, no matter how many times they race in MyWhoosh events. In addition to the four, limited edition, ultra-premium Colnago C68 bikes being raffled, MyWhoosh schwag and door prizes will also be given away throughout each day of the expo.
Meet and greet with UAE Team Emirates and UAE Team ADQ professional cyclists at the MyWhoosh booth from July 13-17, between 14:00 and 18:00.
Cycling fans will not want to miss the chance to meet WorldTour professional cyclists from UAE Team Emirates and UAE Team ADQ, experience the unique virtual cycling environment, and score some MyWhoosh schwag.
